Rapture humor: Jesus comes for the gay Christians

From “Evading Rapture” cartoon by Justin Pierce

Enjoy a gay-friendly cartoon about the Rapture that DIDN’T happen as predicted on May 21.

I can relate to a Jesus who says, “Gay Christians have remained faithful to me, despite being bashed by my followers in my name. If that’s not devotion, I don’t know what is.”

The cartoon comes from “The Non-Adventures of Wonderella” by Justin Pierce and it is reposted by permission.

This cartoon made me LOL several times!!! "Um, I'm bi can I come too?" had me howling... and don't forget the "Replace Water Filter" reminder sign on Jesus' calendar.
Great cartoon! Hi Wonderella!

It's fun to see Jesus in today's world talking on a cell phone and being called "J-dogg," isn't it?

I cover so many serious issues here that I wanted to balance it with something to make people smile.

This post is sparking a discussion on my Facebook page about the damage done by the false predictions of the Rapture upsetting people and distracting them from real problems.

CJ, I thought of you and your fine sense of humor when I made the decision to post this cartoon. Many people tell me they come to this blog to feel uplifted, and laughter is a good way to lift our spirits. :-)
