The subsequent use of the prologue to the Gospel of John as a love-song composed by the apostle is wonderful. Again, as I re-read these books again and again, I am ever more convinced that the Holy Spirit really did inspire you to see the deep psychological nuances of relationships between Jesus and his followers that can't help but enrich our understanding of our own relationship to our Divine Lover.
